What is a DIY rhinestone art kit?
A DIY rhinestone art kit is a craft kit that lets you build a finished piece of wall art by placing glass rhinestones onto a pre-printed canvas, one color at a time. A PhelaHaus kit includes the canvas, the stones, the glue and the tools, so you open the box and start creating.
What's included in a kit?
Every kit includes a pre-printed premium wood canvas panel, premium glass rhinestones sorted by color and 3 different sizes, glue, and an application tool kit. Everything you need is in the box.
How is this different from diamond painting?
Diamond painting uses small resin drills pressed onto a sticky adhesive canvas, usually a flexible sheet that needs framing afterward. PhelaHaus kits use faceted glass rhinestones bonded with glue onto a rigid wood canvas panel, so the finished piece has real sparkle and is ready to hang with no frame needed.
Do I need any craft experience?
None at all. If you can follow the colors on the canvas, you can complete a PhelaHaus kit. It's designed to be relaxing, not frustrating.
How long does a kit take to finish?
Most people finish over a few evenings, so anywhere from 4 to 10 hours depending on the design. There's no rush, and it stores easily between sessions.
What size are the canvases?
Our rhinestone art kits come on 11" × 14" and 16" × 20" wood canvas panels.
Do I need to frame my finished piece?
No. Each kit is built on a rigid wood canvas panel with a hard backing, so your finished art is ready to hang straight away.
What are K9 glass rhinestones?
K9 is a high clarity optical glass used for cut rhinestones. Compared with plastic or acrylic stones, K9 glass stones are heavier, catch far more light, and keep their shine over time, which is why we use them in our kits.
How fast is shipping?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days and ship from New York. Standard shipping (3 to 5 business days) is $8, or FREE on orders $99+. Express (1 to 2 business days) is $15.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. More destinations are coming.
What if I run out of rhinestones?
Every kit includes lots of extra stones of each color so you don't have to worry about running short.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us at info@phelahaus.com within 1 to 2 days with photos and we'll follow up with the right solution.
Can I return a kit?
Yes. We accept returns within 30 days on unopened kits.
